Working for the then Queensland Department of Education, Training and the Arts, JTA conducted consultation/communication to help identify and prioritise funding projects among 13 state schools in the Brisbane Bayside area.
The project involved intense consultation with school and local communities regarding potential expenditure of more than $100 million in the area, under a state funding program designed to modernise learning environments that optimise school resources and facilities, and encouraged broader and more effective community integration.
The work took place in line with project principles and against a backdrop of sensitive issues (i.e. contentious school closures).
