Ambre Energy, a Brisbane-based mining and technology company, is an emerging leader in the development of alternative fuels from low value coals. JTA has assisted the parent company with corporate branding and positioning work. We also assisted its subsidiary, Ambre CTL Limited, to implement the first phase of a comprehensive communication and engagement strategy for its flagship Australian project, ambreCTL.
The $3.5 billion project involved producing unleaded petrol and liquefied petroleum gas from Darling Downs coal for domestic use, using above-ground coal gasification processes. The issues were sensitive and complex, requiring a strategic and well-planned approach to consultation planning and delivery, and close scrutiny of emerging government policy.
