We specialise in facilitation and are in demand in all Australian States and Territories for our capacity to manage disparate groups and achieve desired outcomes. We work with groups of all sizes, from three to three thousand, who are often angry or outraged.
Dispute resolution requirements are perennial and include land disputes, intractable neighbour disagreements, community divisions on the relative merits and demerits of project activity, and any situation where dispute resolution is required before the parties can move forward.
Skilled facilitation is essential for running effective consultation sessions before there is a need for overt dispute resolution. As part of its pro-active dispute resolution function JTA provides facilitation and management of meetings of all kinds: public (town hall) meetings, focus groups, community liaison groups, etc. We deliver facilitation and mediation services as part of dispute resolution for diverse clients.
Our facilitation experience includes working with groups of 3,000 plus for the MDBA in Victoria and South Australia, working with unsympathetic or hostile audiences in the infrastructure, resource development or new technology fields, These can be challenging and require an advanced knowledge of dispute resolution; JTA understands the dynamics involved and manages such dispute resolution situations with skill and sensitivity.
